Terms of Service

TheVisa plugin and MCP server (mcp.thevisa.com). Effective 2 September 2026.

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the TheVisa plugin, the MCP server available at mcp.thevisa.com, and the visa knowledge base behind them (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by The Visa Services ("we", "us"), the operator of www.thevisa.com. By using the Service, including through ChatGPT, Claude, or any other AI assistant or client, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service does

The Service answers questions about visas: countries and visa types, processing times, fees, required documents, and application requirements, based on the TheVisa knowledge base. When a question cannot be answered from the knowledge base, it may be forwarded to a TheVisa specialist who may follow up with you through the contact channels of www.thevisa.com.

2. Informational nature of the answers

Answers are provided for general information only. They are not legal, immigration, or professional advice, and they do not constitute an offer, a contract, or a guarantee of any visa outcome, price, or processing time. Visa rules, fees, and timelines are set by the relevant authorities and visa centres and change without notice. Always confirm the current requirements with the official authority or with The Visa Services before making decisions.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and only to obtain visa-related information. You must not:

We may limit, suspend, or block access to the Service at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

4. Questions you submit

Questions submitted to the Service are processed to produce an answer and are logged, together with a technical conversation identifier and a request identifier, for quality, support, and security purposes. Do not include passport numbers, payment details, or other sensitive personal data in your questions unless a TheVisa specialist has asked for them through an official channel. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Notice.

5. Intellectual property

The knowledge base, its texts, and the Service software are owned by The Visa Services or its licensors. You may use the answers for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use, including systematic reproduction or commercial redistribution, requires our prior written permission.

6. Third-party platforms

When you use the Service through ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant, that platform's own terms and privacy policy also apply. We are not responsible for the operation of those platforms or for how they present, summarise, or modify the answers returned by the Service.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the knowledge base is complete or up to date. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Visa Services is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the answers provided by the Service, including refused visa applications, missed deadlines, fees, or travel costs. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published at https://mcp.thevisa.com/terms with its effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
